EAD Approved and Mailed
My timeline

PD date March 7th
Receipt date March 14th
March 23rd status stated that they received my fingerprint fees
Biometric April 17th

Since then no status update so I call USCIS customer service about five times between June and August 8th and got the same response with no help. All the representative said my case was within normal processing time and I should wait.

On August 8th I saw in this forum that someone from April received their EAD and that prompted me to call the customer service once again. I was asking the agent about my case and at the same time I told him that when I applied the time was 3-4 months and now it is about 5-7 months. I was also telling him that I have a mortgage to pay and my husband cannot do it alone.

He said that I can expedite my case so I asked him how to do that and he said he can do it for me. He asked me a few questions like what was my email address, home address and telephone number which I provided. He give me a reference number and said I will hear from them within five days.

The next morning I received a email from them stating that they received my case and us working on it. During the day my status changed to card being process and then it changed again to case approved. On August 13th I received the letter in the mail stating that they will send my EAD card soon. ON August 14th I received an email that they send my card via US Postal Service. I will not wait on my card.

No word on my ssn but I will go into the office to get one if it does not arrive immediately after my card.

All the best everyone and thanks very much for sharing and encouraging me during my time of wait. Oh and they did not ask me for any evidence to expedite my case.
