AOS interview experience in Tampa Florida
Hello friends,

I had my Aos i485 interview in Tampa on July 12th. The immigration officer was nice. At the beginning of interview he verified all the information we filled up in i130 and I485 and then he started asking questions about our marriage relationship. He also look at our lease document and utilities bills. I also had misdemeanor charge in 2012 December but I have fulfilled all the requirements given by judge and then judge dismissed the case . After that I have expunged my record. I also took no record exist certified letter from court with me to show IO in interview. But IO has asked me what was the charge and checked my dismissal letter and expunged letter and kept copy with him. He didn’t ask anything else. Interview was pretty easy and simple since our marriage was bonafied. We have a lawyer with us but really no need of lawyer. My lawyer said that keep the answers short and simple and that’s what we did . Interview lasts for 20 mins. At the end of interview IO said that he will approve the case today and we will get GC within 2-3 weeks. But we received card exactly after 1 week. So bottom of line is if your marriage is real then no need to worry about in Interview.
