Here's information pertaining to my case!
Adjustment of Status based on marriage to USC
Place of filing - Austin, Tx
Was on a B1/B2 (completed 6 months in country on July 24th 2018)
PD - June 1st 2018
Biometrics - July 2nd 2018
Ready to be scheduled for Interview - July 16th 2018
No update since and no sign of EAD.
I have two specific questions:
1. What banks can I open a joint account with my husband? Chase bank is not an option. Do you guys have any other suggestions? I am on the lease agreement, internet bill and phone bill. These are the documents I can submit for address proofs.
2. Domestic air travel after you exceed the allowed stay on B1/B2 visa i.e., According to my B1/B2 I have overstayed my stay (Jan 24th 2018 to July 24th 2018) although I have filed for adjustment of status much before said date. Is it best to avoid domestic air travel for the fear of being caught as 'out of status'? Let me know your thoughts!
