Santa Ana office - Interview today 08/21
Hi guy's.

We just had our interview marriage based today at Santa Ana office.

At the end of the interview the officer say we was going to be approved tomorrow and we can expect our card to arrive at the next 2 to 4 weeks.
He did gave us a letter saying our case was hold for review but just because the attorney asked for it (the officer also said he don't give letter for who he approve, but unfortunately attorney insist and he gave us the letter saying our case would be hold to review) Just waiting to see if the status will change tomorrow based on the office word. (I believe it will because he was very clear about it, just praying for the best).

Our experience so far...

First impression: He is a young guys, maybe at his 30 and was a nice guy, not to friendly but not to serious as well.

We first raised our hands and swore to say the true.
After he ask to take my picture and finger print me (but hes computer do not work so he say we was going to do this at the end and we went to his colleague office at the end and got it done).

He also ask for all the joint doc's and i gave to him everything we have (bank statements, credit card, water / electricity bills etc etc... (he gave me back everything).
He asked for a rental agreement and we told him we have the grant deed of the house and he asked for it and keep the interpousal transfer grand deed (witch has my name on it) and he keep this one.

After that hi start with same questions to my husband about where we leave, when we got the house, who choose the house, he also asked for the mortgage doc's and i did not have it at my separate doc's but i had it inside my purse since i'm the one make the monthly payments (so i show him and he gave it back to me).

He asked for photos and he show the wedding and the others pictures we have together (around 500 pictures).

He looked at the wedding pictures pretty fast and picked one to asked who was at the pictures (it was My husband mother, sister, father and our flower girl) - My husband and I answer at the same time, saying their names.

After that he start seem our pictures since when we meet (3 year ago). We have pictures in Brasil, Peru and USA (he recognize some famous places and comment something like he knows this places).

We have some pictures where our faces was painted in blue since it was carnaval in Brasil and he also asked why (we explain and moved forward).

After that he went to some questions for me.

It was when we first meet, followed buy if when we meet it was like a friendship our in a romantic way, we say it was romantic.

He asked how many times i have been in US before, and i say it was the 3 time...

He asked why i decide to stay and i answer it was because my husband propose to marry me so i stay.

Well i don't remember every single detail but it was mostly like a conversation and we told him about us (like when you make new friends and decide to tell them shortly history about your relationship but showing important details.

He say we was approved and we went outside to wait for the letter the attorney asked for.
I believe everything was around 30 min, maybe a little bit less.

Now we start counting the says to receive the card (hopefully the online status change to card in production tomorrow as he say so i will be more happy then i am).

Thank you everyone for sharing your experience, it was nice to learn with every single experience i read.

I will be happy to answer more questions especially for who are waiting for the interview at the next couples weeks and especially if is also for Santa Ana office.
