Do we need to wait for expediting EAD
Hello,
Our petition was filed on June 28th, 2018 and we would like to expedite the EAD work permit. We have already received the 797 and biometrics are done. This is for marriage-based greencard.
Our lawyer is saying that we can't expedite because we have not waited long enough since our petiion date. It's been about 60 days since the petition. She said that she can only do inquiries (not sure what that means).
For those of you who have been able to successfully expedite your EADs, how long did you wait (from the Petition date) to expedite the EAD?
