My timeline, for NYC filers who've been waiting for so long and are losing patience....
Married july 22 2016
Case received oct 17 2016
Fingerprints and background check in timely manner.
Ead received jan 2017
Interview aug 28 2017
No decision within 120 days
Ead renewal sent mid dec 2017
Meanwhile infopass for i485 decision warly dec 2017, no luck "we're working on it"
New ead received June 2018
Service request for decision on i130 submitted april 2018
I130 answer in july "we're reviewing and may come to diciaion within 60 days"
This morning i get a text "your i485 case has been updated"....i check online and it's an RFE request, I'll find oyt from the mailing what is missing.
I am at my wits end but at the same time grateful they found my case, as i was told at my 2017 i485 infopass that my io did all his interviews scheduled for that week, then transferred over to FEMA and didn't even click on the "interview completed" button!! The guy at infopass pantomimmed what happened by picking up a file on his desk then dropping it on another and turning his back on it saying "this is how it must have happened".
The io also messed up my b1/b2 and put in the computer k1 or k2 fiancee visa!!!at least we could get that sorted at the inforpass way back when.
