Adjustment of Status - I-485

I know it’s probaby not a good idea to be asking about this concern of mine here but i am having sleepless nights and absolutely no piece of mind. Last year when I visited the us I shoplifted at Sephora and yes I know it was wrong and I deeply regret it. I was stopped by the stores lost prevention officer who ask me to follow him to there office in the back which told that they had footage of me concealing an item in one of my shopping bags, he went on to say that no police will be called and I don’t have to go to court as long as I cooperate which I agreed. He offered a program to me called the crime accountability program which is a online based program where you watch videos and answer questions about why you shoplifted and how it affects the community. The cost to take the program is 400usd which must be paid with 72 hours if not the information they have on me will be handed over to the cops and they’ll take it from there, I did what I thought was the easy way out at the time which was to take the online class. Now before I headed back to my country my boyfriend who I was visiting at the time proposed which I accepted and now I came back to the state and we got married he has started filing my paper work I did my biometric on July 9 haven’t heard anything since so now I’m worrying if the fbi found out about the incident through my background check even though no police was involved I wasn’t arrested or fingerprinted. Does anyone know of someone who might be in a similar position. Please send me a private message.
