485 interview EB3 Employment based Experience
Hi, first of all let me tell you that we have made a big thing about the interviews. If you have filed your papers correctly and if you have stated all the facts and figures with truth, no one can do anything to you.
I had an interview on Aug 25th, all stressed out when waiting at the USCIS office. The officer called my name, we went to his room.
General questions asked from my wife. Note: She should know everything about the petitioner, I mean persoanl from DOB to parents info and his work schedule and location.
Asked my kids about their age, DOB, and father's name.
Asked me about my last entry to USA, and for sure about my work. Make sure you know everything about your 485 which was filed with them. They have all your details on their CP and can ask only what they have.
Most important thing: You must carry with you the house lease or ownership where your wife is also involved or your latest tax return if you find jointly. They will take a copy of that. Please make all your copies of EAD, DL, Adv Parole.
The interview ended in 30 minutes, all clear but as visa is retrogressed, we need to wait.
