Hi Guys I’m new to the Forum
I’d like to share my journey with you.
I came to this country with a non immigrant visa, during my stay I met this wonderful guy, we met through one of my friends and we clicked instantly. We exchanged numbers and our relationship developed throughout the days,, I scheduled my flight back to my home country and by this time we were boyfriend and girlfriend, we were both sad that I had to go back but I was confident I could mantain a long distance relationship with him and come to visit from time to time, a week before my flight he proposed to me. I pushed the date of my flight since we wanted to stay with each other longer but at the end we decided for me to stay and file for AoS while being in the US, we went to the courthouse and got married. We filed forms accordingly and he paid all the fees. First few months we lived together he made me feel like I was a queen but later he started acting distant. He would say some disrespecful and hurtful things to me, he would leave and come back 2 days after, sometimes I would starve because he stopped shopping for groceries. I found out he was staying with another woman and confronted him. He decided he wanted to separate and I decided to move out and stay at one of my friends house, she witnessed every argument mostly. Now I’ve file for divorce after trying so hard to fix our relationship but his bipolarity disorder among with the constant cheating it was impossible, he signed the divorce papers no problem. I was talking to somebody else before I met my husband and I totally dismissed him because I thought I’ve met the one. We’ve been talking a lot in the past 4 months and he asked me to be his GF, we know everything about each other and he was very supportive with my situation. I don’t want to rush into anything since I don’t want to make the same mistakes, I know the consequences of withdrawing my application but at this point I don’t care if I have to go back to my country, my only concern is not being able to come back for tourism purposes. If I decide to stay and take a chance with the person which will take a lot of consideration and thoughts since I wouldnt do it to just acquire a stupid GC. would this be a problem? I’m not worried about showing proof that I entered my marriage in good faith because I really loved him. Did anyone here has a similar experience? Did anyone go through a second marriage petition for AOS?

We’ve been married for 1.5 years as of rn until divorce is final.
Thank you in advance.
