Hello All,
I'm an Indian under EB2 Category with Priority date of September 21, 2015. I got married this year and my wife is from Spain ( Born ). . Hence based on the ROW current PD and cross charge-ability where you can basically port the date of one of the spouses if it is current. ( regardless of Work or not. All they need to be is on a status and in the country ).
We sent our documents on 7/23.
Got receipts on 8/13.
Got Fingerprint Notice on 8/21 and Finger prints date is 9/6.
Now my question is, when i looked at my I-485, i still see my Priority date as September 21, 2015 and my wife's priority date is blank ( since her file is attached to mine ).
Do any of you had such experience and what was your priority date when you changed to Cross Charge-ability ?
