Canada PR holder in US and trying to schedule H-1B visa appointment
when i was trying to create my application (in the canada visa portal) there are these options:
1. I am a non canadian citizen residing outside canada and want to book a visa appointment
2. I am a non canadian citizen residing in Canada with a completed DS160 and want to book visa appointment
When i chose 1 and answered YES to "are you applying from outside Canada for a US visa" - there were no appointments for Vancouver
When i chose 2 and answered NO to "are you applying from outside Canada for a US visa" - there was September 13 availability. It also asked for payment - should I pay before making the appointment? Also there were no future appointments so i'm guessing I can book in November when I want to go then?
and at what point will i be able to see if i qualify for the dropbox or in person interview?
It also asked for passport pickup location - there were many for BC: should I choose the Surrey St address?
Kindly advise on what option i need to choose before i proceed to schedule an appointment.
