601 Approval before 485 Interview?
On 9/7 I received a notice that my 485 had been scheduled for an interview and notice was being sent to me.
I called my lawyer's office today to see if they had received the notice because I still have not.
He indicated that what most likely happened is that they approved my 601 and are waiting on the local office to schedule my interview. He also said that they would not have scheduled my AOS interview unless the 601 (inadmissibility waiver) had been approved.
However, my cases online still say "case was received" so that's not exactly reliable at this point.
Can anyone else share their experience with this? Because if that's the case, I am absolutely flabbergasted and of course, thrilled.
