Adjustment of Status - I-485

Hello, everyone! I have more of a question than experience. We filled our documents after half a year in a marriage. Got them returned due to the incorrect form date. But the from i130 showed that they would have except it if we had filed it separately. So we made everything right and filled it again. I didn’t make my medical exam because I knew I have a lot of time. Few weeks after filling (after the notice of exception) we got the mail saying that I am missing the medical exam and they warned us to bring it for the interview. I thought this is a formal letter. But about a week later we got another mail with an Interview invitation for October. So after filling before Interview notice there is month! And three months after filling before physical Interview. My question is, I have never heard about such a short term. Has anybody experienced or known anyone with such a timeline? Please! Any information could help!
