Does RFE throw case off the loop?
Hi,
I pd (I-1485, I-130 & I-131) somewhere around July 2017 (later I did I-765), got an RFE (for the I-485) and quickly sent it back new document, which was received on Aug 25, 2017 (a new case # was generated).
Did my fingerprint shortly after, then EAD approved, as well as travel document.
No change in the case status since RFE received (8/25/2017) except for:
"Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received".
My I-130 shows "case was received", since 7/20/2017.
According to processing time, I am still within time frame, however I suspect the RFE damage was beyond the one week it took to submit another document.
Always nice to get a text/email saying something has change in the status (with the exception of RFE).
Anyone having a similar issue? input?
