For those who are interested in our interview experience keep reading.

Interview Experience:
My husband and I were only married 1 year when our interview was conducted (in NYC). Our entire interview took about 1 hour. I came prepared with a photo album, utility bills in both names, car insurance in both names, my husband's paycheck stubs, joint bank account statements etc. The officer kept all of my paperwork along with 2 photos from my album. At the end of the interview she said she needed to review all of my paperwork but also said we would receive a conditional green card in the mail. About one week after the interview we received the approval notice and the green card a few days after that.
Questions the officer asked me (petitioner):
1. Where did you meet your husband?
2. How long are you married?
3. When did you meet your husband?
4. When did you start dating officially?
5. Where did you live when you met?
6. Where do you live now?
7. Do you speak to your husbands family?
8. How many siblings does your husband have?

Questions the officer asked my husband (beneficiary):
1. Where did you meet your wife?
2. Why did you come to the US? (he came on a student visa and overstayed)
3. Where did you study?
4. Why did you stop studying?
5. Where did you enter into the US?
6. Where do you work?
7. Did you meet your wife's family?
8. Who were you with when you met your wife?

Hope this helps! Be patient guys and don't listen to the negative stories out there because most of the time there's a lot more to the story that we are not hearing. Good luck!
