Hi all,
My husband is from the UK and I'm a US citizen. Here's our experience:
8/17/2017: Filed I-485, I-131, I-765, I-130 in MSC
9/14/2017: Biometrics
11/1/2018: I-131, I-765 approval (combo card issued)
07/11/2018: Interview scheduled in Philadelphia
08/23/2018: Interview
08/28/2018: I-130 approved
10/15/2018: Applied to renew I-131 and I-765
We haven't had any word since on my husband's status. There was no mention of whether they'd approve or deny at the interview. She said there was an issue with one answer we indicated and she may do an RFE, but it's been two months and no RFE has been submitted to us. I put in a service request which said my husband's I-485 i pending adjudication. It's been two months since the interview and it's been super frustrating.
As many of you, we can't buy a home or move to the next stage in our lives without having this settled. Very frustrating and depressing to know that we pay for taxes and this service and it's taking so long. Appreciate this forum to be able to speak about this frustration, as I'm sure family and friends are growing weary of hearing of these troubles.
