H1B Visa Stamping Experience: Vancouver
Thanks for sharing your experiences. Now it’s my turn.

Background: FTE, Non-IT, US MBA

Important documents I took with me:
DS-160 confirmation, appointment, I797 (original), I-129, LCA, recent passport pic, employment verification letter, paystubs, W2s, degree certificates

Interview Date: 10/16. Went in at 8:30am and out by 9:30am.

Interview lasted for couple of minutes.

Simple questions: who do u work for, how long, position, what do u do? Good & brief conversation of the future of the industry I work in (not sure if it’s out of curiosity or probing me).

Documents checked & collected: I-797 & Passport

Visa approved.

Thanks
Kal

PS: You can store your mobile phone at the consulate while checking in.
