AP Renewal - How soon?
Hi all, first time questioner here!
We can submit our EAD renewals "no more than 180 days prior to expiry of your current EAD", which I can find on the USCIS website. I cannot however find any time frame for submitting an I-131 for an AP renewal (I-485 c09 basis)
I have found a few lawyer sites that says you can apply 90 or 120 days in advance of the expiry but these are not officials from USCIS.
Does anyone know the actual time of how soon you can apply for renewal? I think the processing time is similar to EAD's, around 6 months, so having a 120 limit would mean you could not travel for 3 months ish, but do they care?
Also, I am 3 months into the process of renewing my EAD, if I submit my AP renewal, do you think it will be 'merged' with my I-765 during processing and I will get a combo card or do you think that that is something that is started when both I-131 and I-765 are posted/received at the same time?
