Adjustment of Status - I-485

I submitted a adjustment of status package (I-485,I-767, I-131 and my usc spouse submitted I-130 and I-864)
We got a RFE because my wife just started work the same day we send in the concurrent package. For her to submit a more thorough letter of employment and paycheck stubs which she did by this time she had 2 paycheck stubs. I called the customer service line several times to see when they will process the RFE all they told me was it can take up to 60 days. I check the Dhs website once a week and it always says that everything is processed and we will let you know if more information is needed. I finally made a USCIS account and put in all my receipt numbers and it says that my I-485 case is ready to schedule for interview since Oct 1. Mind you I called several times after October 1st and the customer service says the RFE is still processing. A question I have is why isn’t the 1-130 being approved?
