Oct 09 - Dropbox
Oct 15 - Passport sent back from consulate , received 221g and asking me to attend interview.
Oct 23 - Attended Interview in Chennai
Regular Questions and officer said you should get the passport back in 5-7 days and they need to change something in their system, and gave 221g.
Nov 07 - Case Last update changed (I have read in some other forums, typically a day before it gets issued , the case update changed, and this was true in my case.)
Nov 08 - Issued
I am FTE working directly for the same employer from 2014, did Masters in USA and graduated in 2014. Prior to 2014 , I was working with a separate employer from 2011 till 2013. This was my fifth stamping and my first dropbox experience, I am happy that eventually I got the visa, but it was a bad experience and I ended up rescheduling my flights.
