H1B, H4 Visa

Here's some background: MS in US, OPT and STEM OPT from Sept 2014 to Oct 2016.
Worked with 3 employers since and joined most recent employer 11 months ago.
This was my first time getting H1 stamped.

6th Nov - Interview

VO: good morning
Me: good morning
VO: can I have your passport and I797 please.
Handed it. Some typing later
VO: how long have you worked with your employer
Me: 11 months
VO: how many years of experience do you have?
Me: 4 years.
VO was in some confusion, so I clarified
Me: I was working on OPT since 2014 and then received H1 in 2016. Joined company x 11 months ago.
VO seemed satisfied
VO: so what do you do for your employer?
Told job duties
VO: ok, your Visa has been approved, you will receive a text or email when your passport is ready.
Me: thank you!
Handed me I797, the "know your rights" template and info sheet on how to collect passport.
Before leaving,
VO: just one more thing, when did you graduate and when did your OPT start?
Me: graduated Aug 2014, started OPT in Sept 2014
VO: and we're you out of status during OPT
Me: No.
VO: ok that's all. Have a good day.

CEAC status shows Administrative Processing since 6th Nov and status hasn't changed. I've seen many cases below mentioning this is normal and is resolved quickly. But I read a case below who received their passport already after interview on 5th Nov. Any thoughts?
