Today, my husband and I had an infopass at our local office (Irving, Tx)
We arrived 40 mins before the appointment and after passing security we had to check in.
20 mins later our number was called and we walked to the window.
Very nice lady asked a few questions:
Why are you here? Who’s the petitioner? What form? When we submitted our package?
We explained to her that we have been waiting for an interview since March 2018
She said: “we are in line now for an interview but it doesn’t show we have been scheduled yet”...
I also asked about my EAD renewal submitted on July 2018 and nothing happened yet.
She said: “I’ll get an extension of 180 days but the case still in process”...
We were there about 30 mins while she was checking everything and then she said we were good to go and wished us good luck for the coming interviews...
It was a nice experience there and happy to learn we are already in line for an interview but she doesn’t know how long it will take.
Let’s keep praying and hoping it comes soon...
