EAD Renewal & Expedite
Hello all,

Thought I'd share my experience.

I first applied for my EAD in late Oct 2016, I received my card just over a month later in early Dec 2016.

I now had to renew as my current EAD expires on Dec 2nd. USCIS received my paperwork on Sept 14th. I was starting to get anxious as I was running out of time and could not afford to lose my job. I called today to request an expedite for "Severe Financial Loss" and was told I'd be contacted within 5 days. However, I checked again tonight and my case status went from Received to Card being Processed. Not sure if it was just a coincidence but Yay! What a relief!

My case went through the Vermont office and I'm on a L2 visa.
