sponsor/joint sponsor documents for the interview
Hi guys.

My case is AOS based on marriage to USC.

We filed in September 2017 in NYC, EAD received in November 2017 (filed for extension a month ago) and got a notice that our interview is scheduled for Nov 27th.

My husband is unemployed, working as a freelancer, so we do have a joint sponsor which is my aunt and uncle from another state. They both submitted affidavit of support and all required documents (we didn't get a RFE). However, now we're asked to bring letter of employment, pay stubs, and tax returns to the interview, for each of sponsors.

My aunt sent me her letter of employment (it states that she's employed and since when), her pay stubs and joint taxes. My uncle is working overseas and it looks like he won't be able to provide the same. Would that be an issue that he is not going to provide his letter of employment and pay stubs? Their income is way more than what it's required. I do have their joint tax returns for last 4 years.

Also, my husband won't be able to bring a letter of employment since he's unemployed. He's working on his own company - would proofs of that help?

Another questions is if we don't receive our tax transcripts before the interview can we just bring what our accountant filed?

Thank you! I'm so stressed out it's hard for me to sleep. Our case is pretty strong since we've been living together for a couple of years now, second marriage anniversary in March and our baby was born this year. I'm just nervous about all the documents...
