Help regarding h1-b visa interview
I have my h-1b consular stamping interview next week. I am a FTE in USA. I got promoted from software Engineer to senior software engineer this year. But, when my H-1b was filed, I was a Software Engineer. I have reached out to my attorney and he said I wont be needing any amendment as the duties didn't change. But my verification of employment letter lists my updated role and salary. When the visa officer asks me about my role and salary., should I mention the role as in H-1b application or my updated role?! Please do let me know. Thanks in advance.
