NYC - Oath Ceremony Rescheduled
Hello everyone,
My PD was November 2017. I had my interview at Federal Plaza on October 3rd 2018 and was recommended for approval. Oath was scheduled for October 26th but i could not attend because of the business trip overseas which was impossible to cancel. I have sent a letter to the NY Field Office explaining why i can not attend and asking for them to reschedule, as instructed on the notice. Not sure if they received it because i have been told over the phone that my status is "no show for oath ceremony". Followed up with another letter recently - nobody can say when it will be rescheduled, there are no appointments available for infopass (i am checking every day), no phone to reach them at. The recent development is that i am "eligible for oath ceremony" again as i have been told by the customer service rep.
Has anyone had the same experience? How long could it potentially take for them to reschedule the Oath? Don't want to end up waiting for months and months now especially after i was approved.
