Interview in 20 days-Santa Ana
Hey guys,
I want to share my journey and possibly help someone and also get some insight from experienced members.
I entered with tourist visa, met my husband who is a us citizen. I extended my visa for 6 months and in those 6 months we got married. We sent out paperwork 6 months after we got married. I had to have a co sponsor to sign for me because he didn't have sufficient taxes for previous years. All the paperwork was approved, and I got my work permit in 3 months after applying. Went to DMV and got my CA Drivers license also. Now got scheduled for an interview in 20 days.
We plan on bringing our lease, phone bill, utility bills, health insurance - all on both of our names. Our joint taxes for the past year. Photos of course, my sponsors taxes and letter of employment. Just as it said on the Interview letter.
We don't have a lot of photos, we're just not the type to take them. We also didn't have a big wedding or reception because we did everything last minute.
We've been living together for 2 years now.
I'm kind of scared because of lack of all the "evidence" that others have, but what can I do. Is there anyone with a similar situation? Or any advice on what else to bring with us?
Thanks
