Green Card in Hand
I finally received my 10years Green Card and the whole process took about 2years. The suspense, the wait, and everything was hard to deal with but I have to say I am lucky enough to have access to EAD so I have a great job that pays my school tuition so i guess the wait is all worth it.I admitted into the US about 10years and applied for Asylum which was denied and denied after multiples Appeals then i married my wife after 6years of relationship. Well, Let's just say that I am lucky enough to have her and stuck with me for those years. Yet I have a few questions.
-With Asylum denied and now I have Green Card through Marriage, we are planning on traveling a lot since we both are mid-20s, Can I get a passport from my Birth country or should I get a Travel document?
- I actually applied for EAD Card and sent it the day before I received the Notification of 485 being approved. Should I call USCIS and ask how to cancel the EAD application? Or will USCIS cancel the application when they realize that I have the Green card?
Futhermore, Goodluck to everyone on here!
Thanks
