Interview is ready for schedule 10/23/2018
Interview scheduled on 10/24/2018 for 11/28/2018
The interview was scheduled at 7.30 am
We are same sex marriage couple, we arrived there at 7 am and then went through the security check u can wear jacket but requested to take off shoes and belt.
Then went to up reception and showed the interview notice and been told that wait until someone come out call my name.
The interview took 45 mins
Here some questions that i remember
- what is ur full name of your spouse
- what is your husband job and describe about his job
- who is the one cook at home and asked my husband what dish he like the most
- ask my husband about my parents name
- ask my husband why you sponsored him to US and the left him live alone and working in Holland
Because when i arrived here my husband got big job offer in holland with very well salary , so i let him go and i live alone
Then question yes/ no I485
We brought joint tax return 2017, car register, car insurance, utility bills, my husband's tickets back to the US to visit me, last 6 months of bank statements, around 50 pics. The officer she took them and around 10 pics, she asked me who were on the pics.
I did not get the approval at spot but she just said she have almost everything that she needs, if she wants some more she will request for evidence. We did not get anything paper after the interview inform that case must be review.
11/30 i got update by case tracker that my case was approved. Today i check usps informed, there is a letter form uscis to my address. I think it is approval notice. Cant wait for my greencard, i need to visit my family in vietnam and my husband in holland
My question is how long it takes to get the GC from the approval day ?
