Green Card interview for me and my daughter- custody and parent plan for the foreign child
Hi guys,
Just wanna to share some experience and ask you for an advise, ma and my 15 years old daughter just pass a married based interview on December 3rd in Seattle. Officer told that he probably need some parent plane or child custody info for my child and he might request an RFE, but he is not sure, then our lower told him that it is not necessary and they can not provide that info within 7 days as required per process. Also per russian low it is not mandatory to have parent plan we have just verbal agreement with my husband that child stay with me. Then officer asked couple questions to my daughter about her Dad and told us , ok, i will excuse that question, your guys approved , congratulations. I have an USCIS account and the status of our case has been updated yesterday, for my application it says - Interview was completed and new card is being produced, but on my daughter case it says - case is ready to be scheduled for interview on the December 3rd, does it mean she needs to go on another interview? Sometimes site does not show correct information but i worry what if they approved a green card for me only but still will be reviewing and requesting an other evidences for my child.
I'm so sad about that, could you please advise how it might go if anyone had the same experience or know how do deal with that.
