I am a FTE, getting H1b stamped for 2nd time. It is a different company from previous H1b stamping and I also had a new Passport, I had I140 approved from the previous company but since I changed company in June 2018, that I140 is not valid now.
Following is our timeline...
13th Nov - Submitted Documents
16th Nov - Case Created (Both H1b and H4) Application Received Status
26th Nov - H4 Visa Issued
27th Nov - H4 Visa Collected
3rd Dec - H1b Status changed from Application Received to Administrative Processing
H1b status is still Administrative Processing, H4 got approved and stamped on 26th Nov.
Is anyone on the same boat? Also, Can my wife (H4) travel to USA without me (H1b visa not stamped, H4 visa stamped)? Thanks in advance
