Case Status Not Updating
Hey everyone. I'm curious if anyone has had or seen a similar situation to mine. I went for my interview on 11/7/18 in L.A. The day of the interview they gave me the letter saying to wait 30-120 days. I've been looking for an update online from USCIS (even though I've signed up for text alerts) and have not received anything. On 12/3/18 I finally got a welcome to resident status letter in the mail where it states my case has been approved. I've been waiting to see if at least they'll provide a tracking number when my card is shipped but I still haven't received anything. Has anyone had this happen? How long does it typically take to get the GC after receiving the approval letter? Has anyone had this happen where the case status is no longer useful?
