Mail-in applications at LA VAC
Hi,
Is there anybody who mailed their passports to the LA VAC and has got them back/is able to track them, especially those who had included all the required information/documents? My passport was delivered on 3rd Dec, and I am wondering by when I should start worrying/planning a LA trip. I need to travel abroad (not to Canada) on 1st January, and with the holidays coming up, I am worried about my passport getting stuck.
The call center said that we should not expect a tracking id before 9 working days - do we get a tracking id when they send the passport to the embassy or after they get it back?
