Miami Fillers - AOS I-485 Nov 2016 / Interview 11/28
Hey guys,
I hope all is well.. I'd like to share my experience and check if there are any other Miami fillers here that had the interview in in the previous months.

PD: 12/06/2016
Interview date: 11/28/18 @7:45am

The interview was really short (20 mins) and the IO asked basic questions to me and to my wife. We had a lot of evidences such as 3 lease contacts (1 year each), 3 years of bank statements (with a lot of transactions), insurance, 401k, credit cards, joint tax returns filled as married, accounts together and so on.

I put all the evidences on his desk (very organized) and he told me that it was more than enough, he asked for my medical exam and I gave it to him.
Asked basic questions such as, parent's name, where we met, where do we go etc.. probably he asked 6 questions to each of us.

I had more than 250+ pics but he did not ask to seem them, actually, he returned to me one of the credit cards statements we have together, he said that what he had on the table was more than enough.

He did not approve on the spot, but he said that he didn't see any issues with our case and that we were good to go. He asked if we had questions for him.

I asked about the process and he replied saying that he would do his "part" in the next 2 days and then we would received the letter and then the card. He mentioned 30-60 days.

My status changed from Interview scheduled to ready to scheduled an interview (which I believe it is a glitch in the system).

It's been two weeks since the interview and we didn't hear anything from them.

My question is: how long is it taking in Miami for USCIS to give us the final decision (hopefully the approval). Any experiences here? I believe it varies from office to office.

Thank you!
