Vancouver,BC Experience - 12/13/2018
It's my turn to give back to this forum. Here is my overall experience.

Applied Canada visitor visa in August, 2018 and took 2 weeks to get stamped passport.

Completed DS-160 form in Nov, 2018 and booked PAI date in Vancouver, 13-Dec, 7:30 AM. I know dates are not available until Feb/March if you select YES for the option if you are travelling from other country to get US visa stamped in Canada. So I selected the Option NO and got date for 13-Dec as I need visa to be stamped ASAP.

Reached Vancouver, BC on 12-Dec and stayed at Hyatt Regency which is 3 mins walk to Consulate.

Interview day: 13-Dec-2018

Reached Consulate at 7.15 am and allowed after 10 mins for 7.30 am appointment.
Security check and finger prints at the first place..took around 15 mins..Security guards will guide thru out this process.
Security guard took group of people to 20th floor for actual Visa interview
3 counters are open..

Interview Questions: Male Officer

(1) What's your designation
(2) How long with this company
(3) How many people you manage
(4) Are you People manager or Process manager

No questions to dependents.

Golden words : Your Visa has been approved and you will get passport in 3-4 days.

We can hear other people visa interview also (this is very closed and small place)...most B1/B2 visas got rejected and other work related visas got approved in most cases (this is my observation).

Waiting for email from Consulate/Canada post office to pick up Passport at VAN BENTALL CENTRE PO which is 2 mins walk from US Consulate.

Still the status is showing as Appointment..
