Dec 14th : Visa interview @9.00AM
Reached consulate around 8.30AM with infant kid( US citizen) and wife.
Security Person directed us to go first as we have kid.
Security check completed by 8.45AM and asked us to wait for another 10 mins
finally we were in line and directed us to visa counter
Visa approved for the guy before me.
My visa experience:
Me : good morning officer how are you doing?
VO: Doing good how are you doing ?
Me : doing well thank you
VO: So you work for YYYY Company?
Me: Yes I work for YYYY company
VO: your role in company?
Me: YYYY role
VO: Highest degree?
Me: MAsters in computer science
VO : asked my wife , how long your guys have been married?
My wife : YYYY yrs
VO: what your father in law do ?
My wife : he is retired employee of XXxX company
VO: while filling your DS 160 forms did you read about labor laws ?
Me : Yes
VO: Congratulations your visa has been approved.
Me : thank you sir. Have a nice day. Waved his hand to my kid.
It is less than 2 mins
3 questions to me and 2 questions for my wife and 1 question for bothe about labor laws.
Be confident and clear while answering.
