Second Interview.
So myself and my wife had our first interview at the Denver Office 2 weeks ago and all went very smoothly. The immigration officer said that there was no problem and I would be approved for a 10 yr Green Card. We have been married 10 years and have 2 children both of whom are US Citizens as is my wife.Being from the UK I have had a work visa previously for the US also.

Anyway long story short today I received a letter for a second interview. It is only for myself not my wife and I am required to bring ID no other documents. The reason for appointment is "Application for Permanent Resident I 485".

Anyone else had this or anyone have any ideas what this might be for as I was under the impression there was no problem so this is very much out of the blue.

Thanks in advance for any replies.
