Citizenship

Please help.. I recently completed the process and attended Oath. I will give more details on that but I would like to ask . After the ceremony There were two people assisting with voter registration. I signed up and thought nothing of it until a friend placed the fear of everything in me. They did not think it was wise to register to vote with immigration officials. They stated it was a last chance to find a way to revoke status . They asked if I signed the date before submitted which I could not remember. Is it really USCIS way of checking registration because I ticked the box I am a US Citizen and probably forgot to sign the date could this resurface as a registration done prior to naturalization? Where do those forms go? This is the Dallas ceremony. Please help if anyone knows.
