Getting Married and filing right away
Hello everyone,

My fiance and I are getting married the middle of next month. He is from the UK and was originally supposed to just come to visit for the holidays and his birthday. While he was here we made the decision to get married. I have been reading about what to do next and I have so many questions.

Can we submit the I-130, 485, 864, and 765 forms all at once?

He came to America on the Visa Waiver program right before Thanksgiving, and his stamp is only good until Feb 11th. The guy who let him into the country made a major threat about him not leaving. He said "you need to be out of this country no matter what! I don't care if its a tornado outside". Which at the time was not an issue because we hadn't planned on him staying. So now that we are getting married I am worried what will happen if we don't get the paperwork in on before Feb 11th. I want to file right after we get married to avoid any issues, but then that makes it harder to prove a "Bona Fide Marriage" since our lives are only just beginning and our finances and possessions wont be merged all that much yet. If I wait though, what happens if he overstays?

What happens if he sends in his I-485 and then his visa expires before they change his status to pending?
