Marriage based I-485 Washington DC
Here is my timeline for marriage based I-485 in Washington DC (F1 student married to US citizen):

06/08/2018 We mailed a package containing I-130, I-485, I-693, I-765 and supporting documents to the Chicago lockbox facility.

06/14/2018 Status was updated to "Case was received" and we received the reference numbers in the mail a few days later.

07/07/2018 Biometric appointment

07/16/2018 Status updated on I-485 to "Ready to schedule your interview"

10/01/2018 EAD card was ordered

10/08/2018 We received the EAD

10/03/2018 We requested our I-485 to be expedited due to financial loss via phone call (we received absolutely no answer). We called them a few times asking for updates.

10/25/2018 We submitted a second request to expedite our I-485 claiming financial loss.

11/02/2018 Interview was scheduled for I-485

11/09/2018 We received the interview notice in the mail

12/18/2018 We received a notification that our request to expedite was completed (no other details)

12/20/2018 We had our interview at the Washington DC office. It was on time, very easy and straight forward. The USCIS employee asked us about all the info in the application, a few basic details about our wedding and our relationship. We had put together two folders of documentation in case it was needed. At the end of the interview, we handed a few documents like recent bank statements from our shared accounts, our lease contract, a few proofs of trips taken together and photographs to the interviewer. We got approved on the spot.

12/20/2018 Status changed to "Your card is being produced" before we even left the building.

12/26/2018 Status changed to "card has been mailed"

12/27/2018 We got a tracking number from USPS from the card

12/29/2018 We got the card in the mail!!!

Overall the whole process was faster than we expected.
