Adjument of status 911 Question!!!
Hey everybody,

I came to this country on may 2016 on a B1/B2 visa and overstayed, after my i-94 expired my mom that is a permanent resident filed a form i-130 for me but lawyers said it would take over 8 years and after I gottta go back to my country with a approved waiver to my interview in my home country. I started working without authorization after and they put that on the form which I thought it wasn’t right since I didn’t have work permit or something like that, but I payed my taxes during this last two years, now im about to get married and my new lawyer said I didn’t have to pay taxes because I wasn’t supposed to work without a work permit, like I think immigration officers aren’t stupid and they know a Man gotta do something to survive in this country; my question is, Would it be a problem for me when I start the adjustment of status that I worked without authorization ??? Need help!!!
