Visa approved
Did my application in the end of Octber-> initially selected Toronto since work out of Boston. Asked for expedited visa and got approved for Jan 7th in Vancouver.

Experience in Vancouver
Interview scheduled time 8 am, reached there aroudn 720am. However given the elevator had broken down or something along those lines, the interviews got delayed by a couple of hours. So entered approx 9ish. Once the prelim guard clears you, one enters inside and climbs 1 floor-> Goes through security (TSA style).

First floor
- First window- Some one checks your documents and photograph. My photograph was not reading for some weird reason, so I took another snap there ($10 for 6). Frankly it looked weirder than my previous one but I did not argue. Also, my DS-160 had Toronto as the consulate, so they had to transfer the same to Vancouver (took about 15 20 mins for that).
- 2nd window- From here go to another window where they do fingerprints on you. Left 4 followed by right 4 followed by thumb prints. (you get a number here)
- They next take you to the 20th floor (number wise)
- Wait for the counter to open up and talk to the VO.

Questions asked
- Where are you working?
- What are you working as?
- Where did you graduate from?

Here are your rights, visa is approved. Collect in 3-5 business days. Gave a green sheet with instructions.

Couple of ppl's visa was rejected but dont remember why.

Best of luck.

Please Note
- You can bring your cell phone. Did not take mine though given I was staying close by.
- The consulate is close to a Starbucks and in a side location, easy to miss.
