Advance parole experience: second one and no issues.
Just traveled again with the AP and experience was similar to the first one. No hiccups at all. Flew Ethiopian Airlines from Kigali to Addis to Newark. I was worried the person in Kigali airport (very small) wouldn’t know what an AP is, but check in was fine. Before boarding the flight to the US, there was a check of docs; I was asked what I have and I said “advance parole” and handed them the combo card and it was fine.

In the US, same as before: the officer asked me how long I was out of the country and then walked me to the secondary inspection where I got out in 10 minutes. Hope this addresses some of the concerns people are having about using the advance parole card to travel.
