travel before oath ceremony
Hi, Everyone,
again I need help of this forum.

Thankfully my n400 was approved which was almost 3 months ago but since then I am still waiting for the judicial ceremony (wanted to take my husband's last name). Unfortunately I've received some not very good news from home and I really need to go back there and the sooner the better. I've managed to snag an info pass appointment and wrote to congress representative to see where my case is in the process and how close i am to being scheduled. But again it means waiting at least until next week. Government shutdown is not helping of course as it looks like now Federal Courts won't be working after February 1.

are there any other ways I can maybe speed up or shall i even take back my decision to change last name? I may have to stay home 1-2 months and I won't be able to forgive myself if I don't go. Or shall I go and and come back ? This uncertainty is just too much and i can't bear it.
