Marriage Based Green Card for 2 Cities
Hello,

Thank you in advance to all that lend their opinion and experience on here.

My wife and I are in two different states. She lives in Boston (Hence, the Boston related associated address on the I-130) and I live in New York City (Hence, the NYC address on the I-485). I checked the USCIS page and the processing times are significantly higher for New York.

The status on the USCIS page got updated reading, "As of September 20, we are ready to schedule an interview for your I-485". As for the I-130 status, it still reads, "On July 09, we received your I-130".

My questions are:
1) Will it follow the Boston timeline or the NYC timeline?
2) How long is it going to schedule the interview?
3) Would our processing be faster if I moved to my wife's state earlier?

Of course, I am trying to move my job to her city which is hard to do overnight.

Please advise.

Thanks again.
