Stamping H1b at Canada - Entering as Canadian PR
Got Canadian PR recently and planning to visit Canada and complete the PR Landing process and also need to get my H1b visa stamped as my visa expired in 2017 and here in US with an extension.

1. When scheduling the Visa appointment, we need to choose whether we travel to Canada for stamping. Canadian citizen and permanent residents can choose NO and others YES. Choosing No opens up lot of Visa slots and if Yes, the dates are very limited. Will I be able to select as NO, as I will be PR when appearing for stamping(Will not have PR card, but will have a Confirmation of permanent residence document will be issued).

2. Do they ask for proof of residence when I sele NO, if they ask, will my confirmation of PR will work as a evidence?

3. I am planning to land in Canada through ogdensburg prescott bridge, will I be able to cross any day? (I need to get my PR activated by an immigration official and in one of forums some oen mentioned about difficulty he faced when he landed on a weekend)

4. How many days will take it to receive the passport back after the stamping?

5. My current I-797 is valid only till Aug 2019, will it be okay if I go for stamping, just for 5-6 months visa?

Please help me out with your experience on this.

Thanks in advance.
