Affidavit of support
Hello everyone,
I’m new to this formum and I can see some helpful information.
I’m a Norfolk, VA filler and I have my interview in February at USCIS for AOS family based.
In the interview notice they asked me to bring an affidavit of support for the most recent tax year unless already submitted. When I filled my case last year (in 2018),
I submitted a 864 form for 2016 and 2017 tax year will all documentation. Since
A new tax year has passed, do I need to fill again a new affidavit for 2018 year ?
My sponsor is on travel abroad and I’m not sure if it will be possible for him to file for his 2018 tax quickly before interview date and get all employment letter needed.
Can I come at USCIS without that new affidavit of support ? Or Can I change my sponsor ?
