102 days and no EAD
This is my timeline:

c9 category, marriage to USC, filed to NBC
NO RFE
- PD: 07/05/2018
- 08/09/2018: "Biometrics completed" (last status for I-765)
- 11/21/2018: I-485 "Ready to be Scheduled for an Interview" (last status for my I-485)
- 12/28/2018: Senator contacted for inquiry about my EAD delay, received his response on 01/17/18 saying that my case is "pending review by an officer".
- 01/11/2019: Submitted expedite request based of severe financial loss calling USCIS. Then, next morning I received this 3 automatic updates online indicating that my expedite request was "completed". I was surprised that they have never asked me for any proof of evidence as usual.

Today I called USCIS to know about my expedite request and I could talk with a tear 2 representative. What I could find out from him about my case may be helpful for others still waiting for their EAD:

1. USCIS hasn't received my background check until the first week of Jan 2018, so that's the reason for the long delay.

2. My case has been finally assigned to an officer during the 2nd week of Jan, so that's the reason why they made that automatic online updates about by expedite request without even ask me for evidence. Actually my case has never been expedited, because it was already assigned to an officer when I submitted the expedite request. And once a case is assigned to an officer, there is nothing to do except waiting. I mean, they automatically cancelled the expedite request of my EAD because the case already was, and still is, under review by an officer. I hope it finally it gets approved soon.

In conclusion, I think that the reason for the current long delays of EAD is the DOUBLE BACKGROUND CHECK made by USCIS, one for the I-485 before it is "ready to be scheduled for an interview" and the second one to grant the EAD. Besides, this has to be conbine to the fact that every case is different and there are many individual circumstances that can make the background take more time. This double background check is a new USCIS policy (there is information on the net) in addition to coinciding in time with the Gov. shutdown. Maybe USCIS itself has not been affected, but I think that FBI is taking now more time to process and send the background(s), which is delaying even more the EAD approvals.
