The embassy does not open till 7.45 am so don’t arrive more than 10 minutes early if you have an early morning appointment. I had to stand outside in freezing -20 C temperature for 30 minutes.
Questions were pretty standard:
1. What kind of work does your company do?
2. What is your highest level of education?
3. Job duties? Make sure you practice what you are going to say.
4. Salary
The VO did not say my visa was approved but stated that your visa will be processed in 4 -6 days and returned all I-797 (bother mine and my wife) and kept our passport. I was not given any forms. Currently my DS-160 status says administrative processing. Not sure if this status is standard or whether it changes to something else if the VO had said that my visa is approved. Also can someone confirm whether the I797 is returned to you at the time of interview if your visa is approved?
