Adjustment of status i485 & I-765 EAD approval
On 01/23/2018 USCIS california received my application
07/06/2018 Received my EAD card
06/20/2018 ready to schedule interview for adjustment of status

This is where my case was at a still. after waiting 4 months I contacted my state senator so they can help me get my appointment. All they did was inform me that they USCIS is ready to schedule an interview and that's it. However, i encourage people to try still maybe other people will have better luck.

after waiting a few more months i decided to call uscis directly and no luck still

There were unfortunate news that my family member was diagnosed with cancer in my birth country and I called USCIS and let them know it's an emergency situation. The operator told me it will not be grounds to expedite my application but she will file paperwork and try on December.

2 days later i received a notice online that my interview was scheduled for January 29,2019

I never gave up on my case the wait time is between 1-3 years online however i kept pushing to get my paperwork as soon as possible.

Interview: 15-20mins
I was very nervous, stressed & excited. Upon arrival the room was filled with applicants and i could feel their tension and stress which made me more stressed!

Evidence:
I took phone bills for 12 months under both our names and address, flight tickets highlighting both our names from our many trips, bank statements for the year with both our names. all utility bills some under his name some under mine. mail with our names and address & 200 picture album pics of us together.( besides their requirements listed such as id, birth certificate etc)

He was nice and polite he asked for our ids( I forgot my id but he didnt mind I had my daca with me) he looked through bank statements and flight tickets and said this is enough evidence. Then he said let me just look at your pictures looked through all of them asking who our parents were.

As hereview the paperwork He asked us how we met, how long we been together, how my husband got his green card, if we live alone and what city we live in. My husband answered most of the questions as i was too terrified and nervous. This meant the world to me and i was very stressed and have been anticipating this day basically for 22 years!

He then asked me yes and no questions form my application.
and then he said congratulations you're approved.

I cried for a long time in relief that I can finally be a legal person in this country that I grew up in. Im writing because these forums gave me some comfort as i saw people in my same situation waiting and hope it helps
